About the Symposium
Universities and Scientific institutions are eager to spread the culture of scientific research through a variety of activities, Karabük University recognizes its responsibility to do so, especially given that it is one of Turkey's first universities in terms of the number of international students, including graduate students, and the University's Faculty of Islamic Sciences seeks to achieve this scientific goal through a variety of activities too.
In this context, the university decided to organize an annual conference for postgraduate studies to encourage communication between students on the one hand and between students and researchers on the other hand.
Then create opportunities to exchange ideas and suggestions and make the graduate student conference a platform through which students present their accomplished research and studies, and motivate them to continue striving for excellence and creativity.
The conference is also expected to be a means of preparing the researcher and developing his research skills through their cooperation with their academic supervisors.
Conference objectives:
The organizing committee of The First International Symposium for Postgraduate Students aims to present contemporary issues in Islamic sciences, problems and solutions to achieve a set of goals, including:

Introducing and encouraging scientific research related to postgraduate studies and developing students’ research skills

Monitoring graduate programs at various universities through student participation.

Discussing contemporary issues related to Islamic studies and linking them to contemporary problems facing the world.

Encouraging the student to discuss contemporary issues and practice proposing solutions to the problems facing the world through an Islamic vision.

Coming up with important recommendations that will have an effective role in anticipating and developing research among graduate students.
Participation in the Symposium:
Participation is open to all graduate students and their academic supervisors. If the supervisor participates with his student, the presenter in the conference must be the graduate student, and the Student’s name come first in the Paper.
Research Paper Presentation
Participation in the conference is in two parts, face-to-face or through virtual presentation via the Microsoft Teams platform, The participant has the freedom to choose the method he prefer.

Research papers can be submitted in Arabic, Turkish, or English.
Invitation to participate:
We invite all postgraduate students and graduates in Islamic Studies and humanities sciences in public and private higher education institutions in Turkey and worldwide to participate in the Symposium by submitting their research papers within the conference themes.
Those with significant scientific achievements will be acknowledged during the conference in honor of the notable Students present..
